Monday night was a bit less than an Olympic moment for the Brainerd City Council when it voted to evict the newly erected Gold Medal Arena's most famous tenant.
The odds were against them. Cynical American fans didn't think it was possible. And based on the recent track record, those fans couldn't be blamed. Yet they accomplished what some said couldn't be done.
