Bertram A. "Bert" Tougas, age 75, resident of Brainerd, died Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, at St. Joseph's Medial Center in Brainerd. Bert was born July 20, 1931, in Brainerd to Alva and Enza (Britton) Tougas. He was married to Marie Dumbeck at St. Francis Catholic Church forty nine and a half years ago. Bert was a member of St. Christopher's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, a fourth-degree Knight, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War, VFW Post 1647. He was retired from St. Joseph's' Medical Center after 38 years. He was also an avid bicycler.
