Reuben Paul Marohn was born on Sept. 1, 1925, on his family's farm in Middleville Township of Wright County near Howard Lake, Minn., the son of Herman Rudolph and Emma Aguste (Uecker) Marohn. As a young child, his family moved to Minneapolis where he attended school and graduated from South High School in 1942.

BREEZY POINT -- Reuben P. Marohn, age 79, passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2005, surrounded by his loving family at his home in Breezy Point. Arrangements are pending with Willim-St. Onge Family Funeral Home in Pequot Lakes.
