The Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce is hosting the October CHOW Time North luncheon event on Wednesday, sponsored by Famous Dave's, County Road 3, Crosslake.

The EAT (Education, Agriculture and Technology) organization is helping to sponsor a Tack Swap at the Brainerd Community Ag Center, formerly called the Brainerd High School Farm, on Saturday.

AITKIN - Riverwood HealthCare announced that on Oct. 1, Dr. Tim Arnold, family practice physician, joined the staff. He will be seeing patients at Riverwood's McGregor and Aitkin clinics.

Miranda Anderson and Jessica Scott joined the Brainerd Lakes Area Chambers of Commerce staff.

Central Lakes College will recognize retiring faculty and staff in a tribute at 10 a.m. Friday in Chalberg Theatre on the Brainerd campus.
