MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - Throughout the Twin Cities and the nation, hospitals have been telling ambulances to go somewhere else with their sick and injured - for a few minutes, a few hours or even days on end.
Unlike some Twin Cities hospitals, both St. Joseph's Medical Center and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center are not restricting visitors because of the flu but advise people to not visit patients if they are sick and don't bring children into these hospital settings if it isn't necessary.
The H1N1 virus has arrived but it's unclear how long Brainerd lakes area residents will have to wait for the H1N1 flu vaccine.
