Walleye fishing remains consistent for this time of year in 14 to 28 feet of water on North Long Lake, Pelican Lake and Whitefish Lake. Plastic worms are producing numbers of bass in the weeds of most area lakes in eight to 20 feet of water. Look for northern pike to be weed-related as well. The bigger fish seem to be consistently coming off Gull Lake, Round Lake and Lake Edward.
