As one of the many people in this country disillusioned by politics in general these days I began to tire of the "doing it for the kids" rhetoric as much as hearing pro-war advocates use the phrase "support our troops" to justify a political action. In my 35 years on this earth I have never once met a person that was against education or wasn't grateful for the sacrifice our troops make on behalf of all of us. To me it is a bit insulting to over simplify such complex issues and use jargon like that to divide a community.
