Crow Wing County plans further review before deciding who will provide medical examiner transport services.

Janelle Larson, originally from the St. Cloud area, has been named Family Service Worker at Bridges of Hope, a faith-based nonprofit organization that helps families in need by providing parent support services and by connecting them to area social service, mental health and faith community resources.

Kinship Partners of the Brainerd Lakes Area was awarded a $1,000 grant from the York Children's Foundation of Pittsburgh for its youth mentoring program in Crow Wing and southern Cass counties. These funds will be used to help offset programming costs due to last year's successful "100 Mentors 100 Days" mentor recruitment campaign.
