Ive been interested in amateur astronomy most of life and have been teaching astronomy and putting on star watching parties for over 36 years throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. In mid-October of this year, I was fortunate enough to lead a public star party at Forestview Middle School in Baxter. Over 200 people came of all ages and it was a wonderfully clear night, although there was a sufficient supply of autumn chill in the air.
