Brainerd's Memorial Day ceremony will begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday at the Laurel Street bridge. A wreath will be tossed into the Mississippi River in memory of those veterans lost at sea. A prayer will be given by Pastor Dan Werthman with the firing of a rifle salute and taps being played by Ed Yunker.
