Charles Clifford Haukos, of Brainerd, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 20, 2013, after a short battle with cancer at the age of 64. Charley was born on Nov. 27, 1948, in Madison, Minn., to Julian and Florence Haukos. He married Pamela Carter Abel on Sept. 11, 1987, together they owned Yardmen Greenhouse & Landscaping. Charley was a member of the Merrifield Lions. Everyone who knew Charley knew he worked all summer to ice fish all winter.
