CAREERCLC Heavy Equipment program offers certificationMichael Sams and Corey Uhrich, Heavy Equipment instructors at Central Lakes College, Staples, on Oct. 18 will attend the Minnesota Department of Transportation aggregate production technical certification pre-season meeting in Arden Hills.This is the third year of the program adjustment for aggregate production certification offered to CLC students through its Soils and Compaction course.

Hinton is also a registered professional engineer in Minnesota. He joined Widseth Smith Nolting earlier this year as director of electrical engineering. He is responsible for the design of various building projects in the industrial, educational, medical, and commercial markets, as well as the public sector, including all facets of electrical engineering..

CAREER Picek joins Deerwood Technologies as service managerCathe Picek joined Deerwood Technologies, a locally owned information technology firm. Picek is the service manager for the Guardian Network Support customer service desk. She has more than 20 years of account development, sales and customer service experience from previous positions, including; national retail companies, the Brainerd Lakes Chamber, Brainerd Dispatch and Confidence Learning Center.Picek lives in the Deerwood area.
