Evergreen Cemetery has added a columbarium to keep up with changing times. "Almost half the deaths in Crow Wing County now result in cremation" according to Karen Lentz, executive director of Evergreen Cemetery Association, Brainerd.

Memorial services will be held for Lyle R. Cain at the Brainerd Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. Services will be held at the gravesite by entering the Third Avenue Gate, Block 48, Lot 65. All are invited to attend.

Graveside services for Louis Benjamin will be held at Brainerd Evergreen Cemetery on Saturday, June 25, at 11 a.m. Luncheon to follow at the VFW in Brainerd.
